The Pilgrim Path---Psalm 19: 14

"Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer."

Our words will be what they should be---if our heart is right. Our heart is to be conformed to God's Word. Meditation is a key that the Holy Spirit has provided. In Eastern Religions, you seek to empty your mind (as if that were possible). Christianity seeks to fill the mind with God's truth---and truth about God, revealed within Holy Scripture. See horror and woe in our culture---it is due to hearts and minds run wild--- "away" from God and His love. Certainly, the Spirit must awaken you to the truth---and having been awakened---you must keep going to God's Word in long, deep thought---to have your life ordered aright. Daily, we need this Manna from Heaven, to feed our soul---and guide our steps!

Thomas Brooks said that we need to think on the Lord Jesus Christ with great regularity. What He has done for us as Savior---and what He is doing for Us now--- as Our Redeemer and Friend. We need to "think" about our thinking. I wrote these notes down about the Savior just before going to bed---using the Alphabet---You give it a try---before You go to bed this evening....

Heir of ALL Things

Incarnate God / Incorruptible

JESUS / Judge of All

King of Kings

Lamb of God / Lover of Sinners

Messiah / Master

Nazarene / No peer...

Omnipotent / Omniscient / Omnipresent

Prince of Peace / Propitiation

Quickens His Own

Royal / Resurrected from The Dead!

Son of Man / Savior

Teacher like no other

Unchangeable / Undefiled / Understanding His Own Always

Victor over death, hell, and the grave

Word of God / Wonderful Counselor

X---the unknown factor. We will learn about His glories forever!

Yes and Amen---He is the fulfillment of All God's promises!

Zion's Glory---Heaven's Best, Our Redeemer
