Facility Expansion Project
Addition and Remodeling Campaign
In March of 2017 the Session at Providence Presbyterian Church asked the Strategic Planning Committee (SPC) to develop a plan to update our gathering place to serve our current congregational needs.
A major area of concern was the lack of adequate facilities to host church fellowship functions such as congregational dinners as well as space to conduct funeral, wedding and Presbytery receptions. The Session also wanted solutions to our lack of water and bathrooms for our nursery and toddler classes as well as our desire for additional storage and adult classroom space.
The Strategic Planning Committee developed an excellent plan to accomplish these objectives economically by renovating our current building and by adding a community center.
Solutions to current needs:
+ Facilities adequate for church fellowship, funerals, weddings & community activies
+ Access to water and bathroom facilities for our nursery and children
+ Storage of supplies for outreach ministries and Deacon supplies
+ Expanded classroom facilities for Christian Education and ESL
