Providence partners with multiple churches in the area to teach ESL classes to non-native English speakers. This partnership is called Free English Salisbury.
As a volunteer ministry, our church reaches out to individuals from many countries and language groups to focus on building language skills in conversational English. We have three separate levels of instruction available and work to help students become comfortable speaking and interacting in English. We also provide child care so that parents can come and study without having to worry about their little ones.
Volunteers are needed for many jobs from administration jobs to teaching classes. For more information on how to volunteer contact the church office or the FES director.
Classes run from September to April.
