The Pilgrim Path---Psalm 40: 2 

He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure.

“HE DREW ME UP…”

The LORD is The One who places us upon The Rock (Jesus). We are to follow after Him. Yet, HE draws us on---and HE is The One who will get us Home. “Salvation is of the LORD” (Jonah 2: 9b). HE is the beginning, continuing, and end of our redemption. The more often we contemplate this, the fewer our prideful falls, the richer our praise!
