SEED THOUGHTS…

Some seed thoughts from John Duncan (1796—1870). One of the giants of the Scottish Church.

Often called Rabbi Duncan, because of his extraordinary knowledge of languages:

---Not only is God glorious, but all glory belongs to him.

---The only way not to glory before him is to glory in him.

---No good thought originates with us, but from the blessed Trinity in us.

---Change what may, he is unchangeable.

---The blessed Jehovah was blessed in himself before his creatures were in existence.

---Precious Jesus! Precious Jesus! Words cannot tell the value, power and blessedness of a believer’s hope in him!
